Dr. Anissa Boudreau is a Rhode Island native. Growing up she was always very active, whether she was playing soccer or dancing competitively. Her chiropractic journey began after athletic injuries in high school. Her treatments included physical therapy, chiropractic care, and even surgery.

Dr. Anissa Boudreau’s Education

After completing her undergraduate studies in Health Fitness at East Carolina University in North Carolina, the chiropractic field intrigued her. With better knowledge of the human body, she revisited the philosophy and science behind chiropractic; it just made sense. This is what she was meant to do. After graduation, she attended Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Care Techniques and Beliefs

Dr. Boudreau knew her love for people combined with the desire to help others was a calling that she couldn’t ignore. She devotes careful attention to the biomechanics, structure and function of the spine. She practices with a vitalistic approach; looking for underlying interference and utilizing hands-on techniques and procedures that allow the body to heal from the inside out and function optimally. Furthermore, she holds a certification in Graston Technique®, which enables the effective treatment of scar tissue and fascial restrictions. It is Dr. Boudreau’s goal to help each and every patient on their individual journey to a happier, healthier life!

Living a Full Life

In her free time, Dr. Boudreau enjoys spending time with her fiancé Alex, and their yellow lab Savannah. She also loves cooking, reading, crafting, cycling, and tap dancing.
